My latest project has been a year and a half remodel! I have worked with an amazing group of people to create our beautiful home.
Today I’m sharing our entry..it’s my favorite! The marble floors were the inspiration for this home. When I told my dad (who’s also my builder-David H Wathen Construction) “I want large 32 by 32 marble tiles for the entry” he said..it’s too heavy..do wood or something else..I said let’s figure out a way!😂 Shortly after we got the engineer in and added the steel beams in the floor below and made it happen.. I couldn’t be more excited about the way it turned out!
The molding on the walls and all the beautiful touches(the drapery I die over~ adds such a beautiful softness to the tall windows) It all came together to make a lovely and inviting space for family and friends to be.
